System introduction
AEB active safety system of Zhongke Hueyan passenger car uses binocular stereo vision system (including binocular cameras) to build a three-dimensional scene in real time in front of the road of the vehicle, which can detect most obstacles and identify a variety of lane lines, and can warn the driver of potential collision hazards during the process of vehicle driving, such as when the driver does not slow down. The system can slow down the vehicle by controlling the brake air path of the whole vehicle and effectively reduce the probability of traffic accidents. The system also supports the optional ultrasonic radar, through the integration of stereo vision and ultrasonic radar perception data, improve the detection range and robustness of the system, to ensure that the system in all kinds of weather (rain, snow, fog), light (lit night, backlight) and road scenes (urban roads, rural roads, high-speed) can be stable and normal operation.

At present, the components contained in the system have passed the vehicle specification level standards, and fully meet the standards and requirements of the electronic and electrical components of the passenger car AEB active safety system loading implementation plan.

The production sensors of automotive environment perception mainly include monocular vision, binocular stereo vision and millimeter wave radar. The scheme based on monocular vision cannot identify obstacles not included in the sample database, and in urban, rural and other traffic scenes, the rate of missed detection and false detection is high. The scheme of millimeter wave radar has high missed detection rate for non-metallic obstacles, stationary obstacles and crossing objects, and there is more noise interference in urban traffic scenes.

The binocular stereo vision can detect more kinds of obstacles, and the accuracy of detection and ranging is very high for pedestrians, children, all kinds of vehicles, trees, fences, cones, stone piers, livestock and other non-standard objects in complex road environments such as cities and villages. It can cope with pedestrian crossing, express riding and other scenes, and has the detection ability of traffic lights and traffic signs.
System composition
AEB active safety system includes: binocular stereo vision (binocular camera + host), ultrasonic radar, host control box and sound and light alarm display (peripheral device). The binocular camera, as a visual sensor, CAN communicate with the vehicle through CAN the three-dimensional spatial obstacle perception information of the device, and the display screen, as a peripheral device, can provide the early warning sound of forward collision warning (FCW), vehicle distance monitoring warning (HMW), lane departure warning (LDW) and the display warning information.
By integrating the perception data of binocular stereo vision and ultrasonic radar, the detection range and robustness of the system are improved. The system can alert the driver of potential collision hazards during vehicle driving. For example, when the driver does not slow down, the system can slow down the vehicle by controlling the vehicle braking system, effectively reducing the probability of traffic accidents.
